Valentine picks for plant plushies (free printable)

Here is a cute idea to elevate your plant themed plushies for Valentine’s Day: With heart picks! I was thinking of those plant picks that hold greeting cards or provide general plant information and these picks came to mind for all of my Sprout Plushie mods but they could be used with any plushie :). Of course, I’m just getting started and I plan to have more versions of these cards in the future but for now, here’s a FREE Valentine’s day version (since it’s just around the corner).
I’ve provided instructions as well as a quick video below but it’s so easy to put together, I have no doubt anyone can figure it out :D. These tags are around 2” x 2” and I recommend using them with plushies with a minimum height of 4” but you are free to experiment with smaller plushies.

These picks work with any plushie!
Recommended minimum height is 4” tall.
Patterns Pictured and Materials Used
Stump the Tree Stump Plushie with “Happy Valentine’s Day!” pick.
Yarn (Super Bulky #6) = Big Twist Plush in Cardamom (body), Bernat Blanket in Sand (top) and Fern (leaves)
Hook Size Used: 5.5mm (best crochet hook!)
Safety Eyes: 20mm (used the white side of eye inserts)
Plushie Size: Around 4” x 5” (includes leaves and length of arms).

Ways To Purchase:
Supplies (Recommended):
Double sided adhesive: double sided tape, hot glue, cement glue, or Modge Podge (any strong craft glue)
4" Bamboo skewers (or desired size)
NOTES:
The blank heart tags are used for the back of the tag to hide the top of the bamboo skewer. Use of these tags is optional but recommended.
Instructions:
Click on link(s) below to download and print heart tags (blank tags are optional):
Cut out desired tags along the gray cut lines.
Optional: Cut out a blank tag for each tag you are making.
Tape or glue top end of skewer behind either tag.
Optional - If using blank tag: Glue (or tape) blank heart to the back side of tags together, making sure the edges align.
Your tag is ready to go!
