Boho Towel Holder Crochet Pattern

Finished Dimensions
Around 6.50" long (10.5" including 70mm wooden rings) x 2" wide
Length of towel holder is easily customizable by adding or removing rows as desired.

Around 35 yards of 2mm cotton/macrame cord.
Yarn used for this pattern was Unfettered Co. 2mm Macrame
2 - 2.7" (70mm) or 3.14" (80mm) Wooden Rings
Optional: decorative tags.
Abbreviations:
Ch = Chain
EHDC = Extended Half Double Crochet
SC = Single Crochet
ST or STS = Stitch or Stitches
WSC = Wide Single Crochet
Pattern notes (Please read before beginning pattern)
Rows 4 to 8 are worked under the ST of the previous row.
A comma indicates to work in the next stitch.
A "#x" indicates to work given stitch # in the next x number of stitches;
For example: SC 4x = Work 1 crochet in the next 4 stitches.
The Ch 2 at the beginning of each row does not count as a ST.
Special Stitch Reference:
Extended Half Double Crochet (EHDC):
YO, insert hook into ST, YO, pull through first loop, YO, pull through all 3 loops.
Wide Single Crochet (WSC)
WSC is worked like a regular SC, however, hook is inserted into ST of previous row (or 1 row below).

Instructions
Begin: Make a slip knot around the first wooden ring, then Ch1.
Row 1: SC x5, working inside of the wooden ring, turn (5 STS).
After row 1, the measurement should be around 2" wide. Depending on the thickness of yarn used, you may need to add or remove SC STS.
Row 2: Ch2. Insert hook under the first ST then YO and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook), YO, pull through first loop (3 loops on hook, YO, pull through all loops; First EHDC complete. EHDC in remaining STS across, turn (5 STS).
Row 3: Ch2. Insert hook under the first ST to work an EHDC. EHDC in remaining STS across (working under the ST). Turn (5 STS).
Rows 4 to 7: Ch2. EHDC across (working under the ST) (5 STS per row).
Measurement after Row 7 will be around 5" long; Depending on thickness of your yarn, may need to add or remove rows to reach 5" or keep working rows until you have reached desired length.
Row 8 (or last row, depending on how many rows made):
Hold 2nd wooden ring up to your work and work a Ch1 inside ring. Insert hook below the top ST of next ST, YO, pull up a loop, insert hook through ring, YO, pull through both loops; first WSC made. WSC in remaining STS across, working through ring. Fasten off and weave in ends.
