Crochet a car cup holder coaster in under 4 minutes (video tutorial)
BEFORE I began writing patterns, I sold my finished crochet items online. At the time, all of my items were freehanded from patterns stored in my head! When I listed these car cup holder coasters in my Etsy shop back 2023, it almost instantly became my best-seller after a viral video on Tik Tok! To be completely honest, I had no intentions of writing crochet patterns because I knew it would be ALOT of work (and it is) and ALOT of trial and error. However, after lots of requests for this pattern, it boosted my motivation to get into the business of publishing my crochet patterns. This is a customer favorite to date because it works up so fast and it’s cute and functional; Using 2 strands of yarn for the pattern makes it much more durable and absorbent too!
This crochet pattern is for the standard sized car cup holder coaster, which will fit most car cup holders. The full, ad-free, digital PDF pattern is available in my shop or in my Etsy (links below); the full patterns provides instructions on how to work 3 sizes: Standard car cup holder (shown here), large car cup holder coaster, and drink size coasters! It also includes lots of photos and step and by step instructions.
I hope you’ll give it a try and feel free to post comments or questions below! Happy Crocheting!
